Welcome to my classroom blog! I want to document all of the great things that will be going on in East 109 this year and help to build lines of communication between home and school.
Let me introduce myself, my name is Joey Jackson and I live in Stratford with my husband, seven-year-old son, dog and cat. This is my 20th year of teaching and I am very excited to be back in the classroom at MDHS after spending the last three years as a Teaching and Learning Coach for AMDSB.
The highlight of my summer was a road trip in my Grandmother's 2001 Grand Marquis that had us traveling from Southern Califonia to Stratford. We covered a lot of kilometers and managed to listen: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
